Part of the works described in the posts of this Blog are carried out within the V-MUST.NET project.

V-MUST.NET (Virtual Museum Transnational Network) is a  Network of Excellence coordinated by CNR (Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, Italy). It has 18 partners, coming from 13 different Countries, and several Associated Members. The project is developed in 4 years, from 1st of February 2011 to 31st of January 2015. The V-MUST.NET aims to provide the heritage sector with the tools and support to develop Virtual Museums that are educational, enjoyable, long-lasting and easy to maintain. Virtual Museums are a new model of communication that aims at creating a personalized, immersive, interactive way to enhance our understanding of the world around us.

The main goal of V-MUST.NET is to make Europe a leader in the  panorama of Virtual Museums, by getting over the fragmentation in the research and finding proper solutions to the emerging problems, by bridging tecnology, social and cognitive sciences and creating a quality evaluation procedure.
